Located in the heart of Baltinglass, County Wicklow, Little Acorn Café is a foodie destination café. We are known for our fresh, locally sourced, and seasonally inspired food. Established in October 2020 by Maggie Roche, our café is a reflection of her passion for quality ingredients, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere.
At Little Acorn Café, we believe in supporting local producers and using the best seasonal ingredients to design our menu. We proudly partner with suppliers such as Coolattin Cheddar, O’Neills Bacon, Kish Fish, and Roundstone Bakehouse to bring you the best food we can. Our coffee is just as important and that is why we partner with Roasted Brown, another Wicklow business. The single-origin coffee they produce is the best around.
Our menu changes every few months to reflect the seasons and always features Wicklow producers. Our current featured food producer is Tom Burgress of Coolattin Cheddar and his wonderful Wicklow cheese, made only a few miles from our café. It has recently been awarded best cheddar at the World Cheese Awards. We have been using Coolattin Cheddar since day 1, but this month you will find a number of dishes showcasing the best cheddar around.
When we say we love food, we really mean it. This is food that tastes even better than it looks.
